Nico Baixas created a line of personal artistic work that he signs as Gos-com-fuig. With this alter ego, he uses his hands and body to paint and create abstract and figurative photographs, videos, sculptures and multimedia performances that give the viewer a lot of freedom of interpretation, providing the feeling of freedom and openness that Nico admired in his early influences. This series of works consists of a collection of a thousand hand postures that show all the shapes that can be created with both hands.

Chiromorphose Series
This work explores the sculptural capabilities of hands. Stripping them of their symbolism or the functions for which they are typically used, the artist explored them as one might examine a foreign body, seeking their limits and taking them in different directions. To do so, he employed opposing sculptural concepts such as straight-curved and simple-complex; he sought the interconnection between the fingers and the balance between distances, and he attempted to generate geometric shapes and textures. Occasionally, Baixas found forms that were like doors opening to endless new possibilities. Throughout the process, he discovered a world of fingers that transformed reality, taking it to another level.
