This series is born from a search to leave aside the narrative figurative and reduce the image to shape and colour. Starts with both images found as well as her own images, previous pieces, from her palette, from drawings, in a self-referential way.
The process of creating a painting leaves a series of created elements and randomly they become the starting point for the next piece. It is a process of adding and removing; always keeping in mind the history of abstract art.A drawing is a brand, which becomes a picture and leaves remains that become the beginning again. This creates a reflection on time and importance of the process in painting.
